With the increased demand, Mobifab looked for ways to invest in its future, maximizing the manufacturing process to make it more efficient and quicker. One of the ways Mobifab identified to accomplish this goal was to invest in a high-speed, fiber laser metal cutting machine. After much research, we decided on the Mitsubishi SR-F laser cutter.
The Mitsubishi SR-F fiber laser cutter can cut stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. With a stated cutting material depth from 22-gauge to 1”, Mobifab can handle just about anything you can throw at it!
This laser cutter allows for us to cut an 18-gauge stainless steel tray, in less than 40 seconds, with a position accuracy of .0019”!

Our CNC fiber laser technology allows us to manufacture parts quickly and cost-effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Using this kind of fiber laser cutting service allows for faster production, which leads to smaller lead times for the finished products. For example, it would take over 5 minutes to cut stainless steel for body trays. With our new equipment, it takes about 30 seconds!
From carbon and stainless steel and aluminum, with our industrial CNC fiber laser cutting equipment, we can cut materials up to 1” with precision and speed.
